Tips about Natural Skin Care

By Kyle Richey

It seems like today, everyone is getting Botox injections to combat wrinkles and lines on the face. What was once the privilege of the Hollywood elite has now become commonplace with women even have so-called Botox parties where they line up for glasses of wine and injections.

Before you decide to leap into a drastic measure like Botox, try considering natural skin care tips that are sure to help you fight against wrinkles, blemishes, lines, and any other type of skin problems. If you know what youre doing and you know what kind of products to use, you are sure to be successful.

First of all, recognize that natural skin care starts from the inside out. You need to nourish your body in order to nourish your skin. This means eating right, exercising, and getting plenty of water or other hydration. Why are these things important?

What you eat is going to affect your skin for better or worse; if you have a lot of grease and fat this will translate to very oily skin which will cause breakouts.

When you exercise, two things happen. First, it causes blood and oxygen to flow at a higher rate. In turn, this allows your skin to get more nourishment. It also allows the blood to carry dead skin cells and other harmful elements away.

Oxygen is also important to your skin's health and to natural skin care, and oxygen is carried by the blood. So the more you exercise, the better your skin will look!

You may not know this but water probably plays the most important role in natural skin care. When your body hydrates itself by carrying water to all the major organs and muscles, the skin receives water last. If you do not drink enough water, the skin will become dehydrated which is the cause of wrinkles. No matter how many creams and natural skin care products you use, if you do not have enough water, it will not help.

If you want to take natural skin care to a higher level, try making facial masks at home with common products such as green tea, honey, avocado, and oatmeal. You can mix these ingredients with plain yogurt and make a paste. Then you rub the paste on your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. After this you wash it off with a warm wet cloth.

Since natural skin care products such as these do not have chemicals present, you are doing something good for your skin. As well as hydrating and nourishing your skin, you are taking away irritants.

If you have sensitive skin, deciding to use natural skin care is probably one of the best decisions you will ever make. Your skin is not exposed to harsh ingredients that will worsen the shape of your skin.

Before you consider spending a fortune on fancy products or worse yet, seeing a plastic surgeon, you might want to give natural skin care a try.
